Jail Break 100 mile bike ride

100 mile route     72 mile route

Saturday  July 19th  Departure time 7:00am  $20
Printable Reg Form

Presented by

West Bicycles and the Travel Authority

The name of this ride will be obvious to the adventureous cyclist choosing the 100 mile route. You will experience some of the most beautiful, rugged and hostile landscape in the country. The

perfect location for the maximum security Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary.

Fortunately, the roads are well maintained, the decents are fast and the climbs separate whoever

needs to be separated. The 70 mile route is not for the faint of heart. Although you won't pass by

Brushy Mountain State Penetentiary, or be attacked by the Frozen Head assent, you still have

plenty of challenging climbs, fast descents and navigational challenges to deal with, so be alert.

The decision point to go for the 100 mile or settle for the 72 mile route comes at 26 miles into the ride. You just have to ask yourself, "Do I Feel Lucky Today."

Plus... Your new friends at the Travel Authority in Farragut located next door to West Bicycles has

really stepped up by donating three Garmin 205 GPS's valued at $199 each to be given away at

random to three successful Jail Breakers.

Plus... From West Bicycles, on Saturday July 19th only, every rider receives a $10 credit on

anything in the store upon completion of the ride. To get the credit just turn in your ID bracelet that

you wear during the ride.

Plus... Five dollars ($5) of every entry fee will be donated to the Philadelphians Prison Ministery. They haven’t been told that this event will benefit their Ministry. Won't they be surprised?

Plus... The top 10 Jail Breakers from each route will have their mug shot displayed on the Jail

Break web page.

Plus... Accurate maps and queue sheets.

Plus... Local sheriff's will be anticipating cyclist and hopefully won't mistake you for escapees.

Plus... Hey, what else is could you ask for?
